Donna Morgen  1949-2023

It is with great and profound sorrow that we share the passing of Donna Elyse Fiegel Morgen, age 73. Donna was born 9/16/1949 in New York to David Granaat Fiegel Jr and Mildred (Goldman) Fiegel; a premature birth, but a fighter. She died peacefully on 7/1/2023 after a heroic battle with stage 4, metastatic colon cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family. Donna was an educator throughout her career. She leaves behind her husband of more than 50 years, David Morgen, their son Scott (Shannon) Morgen, as well as her 3 sisters: Elena ‘Miki’ (Jim) Picinich, Shari (Henry Stryder) Lerer, and Bonnie Fiegel and her niece Kadi Picinich.

Donna Morgen loved teaching, travel, cooking, and whipped cream. As a child when asked for her name she would tell people her name was Cookie Donna Doll. She was loved and she will be missed. Donna was also the sister of the co-founder of this organization, the American Cancer Fund. Funeral arrangements are with Segal Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida. Memorial donations for colon cancer support can be made in Donna’s name to the American Cancer Fund at www.AmericanCancerFund.org or mailed to PO Box 7262 Hillsborough, NJ 08844
